It is important to go through this user guide carefully, first of all to have the best possible chance of successfully doing your job with the purchased device and then to avoid losing the warranty due to non-compliant use.
Step 1 Charge the Battery
How to Charge the cheating Camera Battery
You have a short video where you can see how to properly charge the battery of your video cheating camera
The battery is charged with a TypeC cable. It is held until the red LED goes out and a blue one lights up. Charging can take between 1 and 10 hours.
- Do not use super fast chargers of 25-45w with 5A (write on them).
- Do not use charging cables that have a TypeC plug at both ends!
Keep in mind that if you have a camera where you use a mini 4G Router to give internet access to your camera, it will also need to be charged! If you use your own mobile phone with the hotspot function, don’t forget to charge it too!
It is recommended to avoid turning on the camera while the battery is charged, otherwise the battery will be very difficult to charge – the energy will go to the camera and less to the battery charging process.
Step 2 Installing the Application
When you purchase the camera, you will receive a download link for the dedicated application for your camera. Download the application from that link and keep the installation kit. The installation kit will work with an automatically activated license and will work on a maximum of 5 computers.
The i-Control Pro application currently runs on any version of Windows 7 – 11 on 32 or 64 bits. It does not work on MAC nor for Android/IOS mobile devices. So don’t look for it in the Play Store or AppStore.
Do not install on more than 5 computers, otherwise the camera will be disabled and will have to be sent to the service for re-software!
If you install on 2-5 computers, try to connect to the camera in turn and not from two different computers at the same time!
Details about the link you receive:
- don’t search on google!! It is typed up directly in the address bar!
- If it appears as a suspicious file, keep it
- During installation, if it says that the application is not reliable, give “more detail” and it runs anyway.
- AVG antivirus may see it as a virus. Thus you have two options:
- Or uninstall the antivirus and install any other
- Or add the folder where the application was installed to the exceptions
This happens because the application does not have the digital signature of a company. Don’t worry, the application is safe. Of course, it’s everyone’s choice, if you don’t trust it, install it on a laptop/PC on which you don’t have important information.
Step 3 Share the internet connection for your Button Camera
This step is an important one. It is not complicated but it is often overlooked and if it is ignored it can lead to errors when you want to connect to the button camera. No matter what model of Video camera for cheating you have, there are only 3 ways to give Internet access to your camera:
- Do Hotspot with the Phone
- You are using a 4G\5G portable mini Router
- Cameras with GSM mode
Depending on the camera model purchased, you fall into one of the 3 situations mentioned above. No matter what you choose, you must know that there are no differences in camera performance. It’s just that the 4G Mini Router is smaller than a mobile phone and you’ll be able to hide it somewhere with you more easily, no one can call you/bother you. You must have hidden the router or the phone with you.
Note that the distances are:
- Between the Camera in the Button and the Phone\Router – a maximum distance of 2-4 meters,
- Between Router/Telephone and PC/Laptop (person helping you) – unlimited.
3.1 If you use your own phone
If you received a mini router (usually white Huawei) in the package, you can skip this step. The router is not offered for free, so if it is not in the package, it means that you have chosen the model without a cheaper router.
The router should be similar to the one in the following picture!
Don’t forget to charge the mobile phone battery, have an active internet option and set it to silent profile. From experience, iPhone phones are more difficult to configure the Mobile Hotspot menu and therefore if it can be avoided, we recommend using any Android phone.
Follow the video guide in the following material
Carefully follow the tips presented in this video guide to learn how to use the device. Do as many tests as possible to get used to the way it works.
3.2 If you use a mini Router
If you received a mini router (usually white Huawei) in the package, follow the following steps. The router is not offered for free, so if it is not in the package, it means that you have chosen the model without a cheaper router.
The router should be similar to the one in the following picture!
Follow the video guide in the following material
Carefully follow the tips presented in this video guide to learn how to use the device. Do as many tests as possible to get used to the way it works.
3.2.1 Charge the Mini Router
The first time you will have to charge the mini router. With a Micro USB cable, it will be charged until the battery LED stops flashing. When the battery is low, the battery LED will light up red. Find more details about how to load in the manual in the Router box.
3.2.2 Insert a SIM card into the Router and power on mini Router
Before turning on the router, check that the video camera is turned off! You can insert any SIM card from any GSM network.
Remember that you must first put the SIM card on a phone and check that the Security code is not requested when the phone is turned on (disable it in the settings if it is requested – otherwise the router will not read the card because of the PIN code).
You must have active internet on the SIM card.
Ideally, where you want to use the camera, you should do a test: check with your phone which network (Telekom, Orange, Vodafone, Verizone, Tmobile.) you have the best 4G/5G signal and the corresponding SIM card you will use. A good signal means quality images received in the application!
3.2.3 Wait for 1-2 minutes!
It is important to check before turning on the router that the button camera is turned off. After turning on the mini Router, wait at least 1-2 minutes before turning on the cheating camera!
3.2.4 Turn on the camera
Do not turn on the camera first and then the router, and necessarily after turning on the router, wait 2 minutes and then turn on the camera!! Insert the plug from the battery into the camera and press the power on button on the battery. If you hold the camera with the button up and the power plug towards you, on the left you will see a red LED on and after approx. 5 seconds after starting a green LED flashing.
If after 10-20 seconds the green LED does not blink, turn off the camera, wait 5-10 seconds and restart again.
3.2.5 Wait at least another 3-4 minutes!
It is absolutely necessary to wait a little for the mini camera to turn on and connect to the Internet. Three to four minutes are usually enough. Only then try to connect to the camera from the application.
3.2.6 Step 8 Start the application, enter the UID code and press connect
Remember that each camera has a unique UID login code. You will receive it in the package once with the link to download the application. Keep both the installation kit and the unique UID code for your camera.
- Try not to connect to the camera at the same time from several computers. You can do it from a maximum of 5 cards in a row.
- Do not exceed the maximum number of 5 computers on which you will install the application.
Check if the green LED on the camera flashes, from where the wire from the battery enters. That green LED will have to blink constantly about once a second. When you turn on the camera, it will light up red initially, then red will stay on or blink and green should blink after about 5 seconds once per second.
- If only red and green light up, it does not start flashing after 10-20 seconds, turn off the camera and restart it.
- If the green light doesn’t flash even after several restarts of the camera, contact the service department – don’t bother to connect from the application because it won’t work!
- if it lights up red a little and then goes out, charge the battery or try to power the camera from another source – any usual external battery for charging mobile phones (minimum 1A).
Follow the green light carefully! Since you turned on the camera, after a maximum of 5 seconds the green LED will have to flash constantly once per second:
- If this happens and the application does not connect to the camera, there is only one reason: the camera does not have internet – check the internet source!
- If the green LED flashes constantly once per second and does not make short breaks of 3-4 seconds, the camera is not defective – there is nothing wrong with it! If you can’t connect from the application, either there is no network at the camera, or at the computer, or the uid code is not from your camera.
- If the green light flashes as described above, please do not call the “not connecting” service! We are not an internet provider!
3.3 You can buy yourself a mini Router
Keep in mind that if you choose to buy a router yourself and only buy the camera from us because it’s cheaper, you will have to handle the router configuration yourself.
You can use almost any 4G mini Router or if it’s 5G it’s even better. All that matters is to create a 2.4Ghz WiFi network with the name: net caffe and password: copiat2019 Depending on the brand and model, the configuration interface differs and you will have to consult the Router’s user manual to configure it.
Possible situations encountered
Our camera are among the best on the market. They are carefully checked before being shipped. That’s why the possibility of receiving a defective product is 0!!! The operation of the device is conditioned by the proper use of the system and knowing what to do when you encounter an unforeseen situation.
Due to the large volume of work, it is impossible for us to offer help to all users by phone. In addition, over the phone it is difficult and takes a long time to identify the cause of the reported problem. Then, if you send the product to us for service, it will take at least 3-4 days to receive it back, and if it turns out that the problem is due to improper use, you will also pay for the return shipping. Keep in mind that over 99.9% of the problems that can occur are because the user does not follow the video guide and skips certain steps.
That’s why we come up with these encountered situations to try to solve the possible problem that has arisen more quickly. Remember that these situations are rare, but they can occur if the product is not used properly.
If the i-Control Pro application gives an error when starting
The i-Control Pro application - how to use it
If the application does not connect to the camera
After turning on the camera, check if the green LED on the camera flashes constantly once per second and possibly stop and restart the camera if the green LED does not start flashing after 10 seconds after starting. After turning on the camera, wait at least 2-3 minutes before trying to connect to the camera from the application.
Check if the UID code is entered correctly on the sheet you received. It is enough to have even one wrong letter and it will give an error when connecting.
Check if the computer with which you are trying to connect to the camera has Internet access. Do a speed test to check the quality of the connection: enter an Internet window, write www.speedtest.net and do a speed test. You must have at least 20 mb/sec for both download and upload. If you have less, somehow get access to a better internet connection. Example of what you can do: if you are on wifi, bring your laptop closer to the router; do not stay with the laptop connected to a hotspot made with the phone and rather connected to a fixed internet network (fiber/cable) at home.
If you make a hotspot with the phone, check if the camera is connected to the mobile phone.
If it is not connected, check if the camera is turned on and if the green LED on the camera flashes constantly without pausing for 3-4 seconds.
If it flashes constantly, check if the network name is net caffe and the password copied2019. Attention, the camera only works on 2.4Ghz WiFi networks.
If these data are correct and the green LED flashes constantly, there is no reason for the mini camera not to connect to the hotspot of your mobile phone. You could connect with a laptop or a mobile phone to this net caffe network and check if the internet is working.
You can and it is recommended to do a speed test to test the speed of the net caffe network from the camera – here the upload speed must be as high as possible (minimum 15mb/sec recommended 20mb/sec) and the download speed must also be at least 20mb/sec . If you have a laptop, go to www.speedtest.net to do a speed test. If you have a phone, download the OOKLA application.
Video Live does not start or starts and stops immediately
If the Live window does not open and the button automatically returns to the off position: try several times and select a lower quality level under the live video start button. If it still does not work, close the application, restart the application and try to connect to the camera again. Turn off the camera, wait a few seconds and restart the camera. Close the application, reopen the application, wait at least 3 minutes and try to connect to the camera again.
If the window opens but closes shortly: try selecting a lower quality level under the live start button. Do a speed test both on the computer with which you are trying to connect to the camera and on the wifi net caffe network to which the camera is connected.
Video on Live or Pictures are in the fog/Can't be seen clearly
If the received pictures are blurry, it’s because in the first 12 seconds after pressing the 4k Photo button, you don’t have to move the camera.
If the Live Video is foggy, try to make slower movements. The camera focuses once every 3 seconds and if you move energetically, the camera can’t keep up with how fast you move.
If you detach the button from the camera, DO NOT try to glue the button yourself! If it’s urgent, try to use the camera without a button (possibly in the sleeve) and after the period passes, send the camera to us!
When you start Live, the live window starts, but only Full Black is visible
When you want to receive images in real time and start the Live window, the images arrive with a long delay or the video is not fluent, it is seen in jerky steps.
This happens because the internet speed is too low. Before starting Live Video, lower the video quality level below the start button. Remember that the internet speed is important to be as high as possible both on the computer where you receive the images and on the camera.
If you use a laptop and you are connected to the Internet via the Wifi in the house, stay next to the router and try to avoid having the Internet hotspot from the phone as your Internet source (Use a fixed home fiber-cable network).
The ideal camera would be to check before use on which GSM network you have a better signal in the area, at least near the area where you plan to use the system.
The Green LED does not blink - the Red LED stays on/Does not turn on (from the camera and NOT from the Router!)
If when you turn on the i-Cheat S3 Pro camera you notice that the green LED doesn’t blink and only the red one stays lit continuously or if the red LED doesn’t even light up, what can you do?

How to check the internet speed on the computer you use to connect to the camera
When sending/receiving Live video images, you need a good internet connection. Real-time video images mean a large amount of data sent/received every second. You must have at least 20mb/sec Upload and Download
Check if the computer with which you are trying to connect to the camera has Internet access. Do a speed test to check the quality of the connection: enter an Internet window, write www.speedtest.net and do a speed test. You must have at least 20 mb/sec for both download and upload. If you are using a Mini Router and the signal LED is Red
The signal LED on the router must not be lit Red. It would be best if it were green!
At first, when you turn it on at the signal, it will be green, but it should remain green after 1-2 minutes. If it changes to red, it means that you either have no signal in that area on the GSM network of the card you inserted in the Router. Or the card is no longer valid, the internet is not activated or the card has an active pin code. Check that the pin code is disabled, change another card from another network.
If the signal LED is neither red nor green (usually orange), it means that the signal is weak in the area where you are.
If you detach the Button from the camera
If the button comes off the camera, watch the following video to see what you can do.
The button is attached quite well to the camera, but if you force it when you put it on the shirt, you can detach it from the camera. Try to choose a blouse as thin as possible and make a hole in the shirt big enough for the button to go in easily and not to force it.
If you tear it off, DO NOT use superglue or Bizone to stick it! If it is urgent and there is no time to send the camera to us for service, try to use the camera without a button – put it in your sleeve and you will take it out a little when you need it. And after the period passes, send it to us for service. Do not glue the button yourself!
